Our Paris Pediatricians Care for Children at Many Ages
Children need primary health care when they are sick – and when they are well. Our Paris pediatricians on staff provide both types of care, and dedicate themselves exclusively to children. Because we have several locations in Paris, your child’s medical home can be close to where you live. Our staff includes board-certified physicians in pediatrics and nurse practitioners affiliated with Paris Regional Medical Center.
All of Paris Regional Medical Center’s pediatricians are licensed doctors (M.D. or D.O.) on staff at Paris Regional Medical Center. They have completed medical school, internship, residency requirements, and collectively have many years of experience. They are committed to providing quality health care for you and your family.
Pediatricians and nurse practitioners (FNP) embody the art of medicine and the heart of nursing. Nurse practitioners are registered nurses with additional education and training that enable them to provide primary health care services such as physical assessments, laboratory and diagnostic procedures, disease prevention and management, and medication administration and management.
Nurse practitioners must complete a bachelor’s of science in nursing (or related) degree, a master’s degree from a nurse practitioner program, and be a licensed registered nurse. All nurse practitioners specialize in a particular health care area. Specialties include family, adult, geriatric, women’s health, school, or pediatric nursing.
