DUE TO COVID-19, A REVISED VISITOR POLICY HAS BEEN PUT INTO EFFECT. PLEASE SEE OUR CURRENT VISITOR POLICY HERE.
Visitors can be good medicine for patients. Family and friends are welcomed to visit; however, patient care is our primary concern at Paris Regional, and in order to enhance the quality of care, specific visiting hours and regulations have been established. Please follow these guidelines. Please check with the nurse on the unit for visiting hours.
Visitors should check in at the main lobby information desk, ER registration desk or unit nursing station upon arrival in order to obtain a visitor pass. Visitors age 16 or older may be asked to show a photo ID.
To promote healing and safety and limit infection, some units may restrict the number of visitors you can receive at one time. General Hours: 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Note: Patients have the right to choose to receive visitors at any time during their stay.
Women and Children Unit: 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. with restrictions from 2 to 4 p.m. for quiet time. Visitors should stop at the Patient Response Center in the lobby of the unit (2nd floor) to obtain a visitor's badge. Please use special caution and do not accept visitation from anyone who has recently been sick or is currently exhibiting symptoms of illness.
Intensive Care Unit: 8 a.m. to 10 pm. During this time, two visitors at a time will be allowed. Only one overnight visitor (beginning at 10 p.m.) will be allowed per patient. Children under 12 years of age are not permitted in the ICU. Please use special caution and do not accept visitation from anyone who has recently been sick or is currently exhibiting symptoms of illness.
